North America
The RFID Research Center spans many disciplines including retail, supply chain, industrial engineering, and computer science, among others. The center’s base of operations is a lab which models a production warehouse and retail store environment in 10,000 sq. ft. of space donated to the center by Hanna’s Candles and located off-campus within Hanna’s manufacturing and warehouse facility.
The RFID Center of Excellence at Penn State Behrend was established in 2005. The mission of the center is to conduct RFID research and outreach resulting in strategic advantage, supply chain efficiency, and economic growth for industry. The Center provides research and consulting services to companies exploring the use of RFID in their processes and fosters collaboration by helping these end users connect with solution providers.
University of Rutgers
The Rutgers Center for Innovative Ventures of Emerging Technology (CIVET) maintains the Rutgers RFID Research Center since October 2009. CIVET has helped Pramari connect with various faculty members at Rutgers, in particular in computer science and industrial engineering. This has led to several senior design projects where students got to develop open source software to address an actual need in the RFID industry.

The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) is one of the largest and most important public universities in Colombia. Is an official institution which aims at helping individuals construct their future as professionals while generating and transmitting knowledge. UIS offers 95 degrees and a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses thin the health sciences, humanities, sciences and engineering colleges.

Institution University of Envigado, was founded in 1995 and currently has four schools: Business, Social Sciences, Political Sciences and Engineering. It is one of the few municipal and public universities has Colombia. The Faculty of Engineering with three research groups registered in COLCIENCIAS, solves real problems of national industry: Systems and Informatics, Intelligent Systems and Telecommunications.
